Understanding by Books: Daniel and the Patriarchs
A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies… The man who never reads lives only one.”
George R. R. Martin in his novel A Dance of Dragons (part of his A Song of Ice and Fire series, on which the HBO blockbuster Game of Thrones was based on).

This quote demonstrates a lot of expressions. A man that never read lives only one which is his life but a reader lives the lives of the authors of the books he read.
In Daniel 9:1-3, Daniel learned from the books of the prophets, especially from Jeremiah, that the desolation of Jerusalem would continue for seventy years which were dealing closer. He discovered mysteries in books. Though he was a prophet, yet found time to look into these divine oracles, never thought he was above reading.

It’s high time we knew wisdom gotten by understanding is greater than strength. Nobody becomes great without studying. Studying doesn’t kill. Great men read books which helps them to be creative and disciplined. For example, Bill Gates read 50 books per year.
Start building capacities and investing more in books. Through consistency and determination, dive into the depth of knowledge and decipher every word in a book.
Are you worried about what to read? Yes, speed must be directional or else it becomes abused.

Read the Scripture – Bible. Here is the secret to digging the treasures in it – Joshua 1:9- making your ways prosperous and having good success.
Read personal development books. Improve yourself consistently and focus more on growth.
You have the treasures.
Be outstanding like Daniel.
Be a rigorous reader. The world awaits you!
