Ayomide Emmanuel Oyekan is currently a medical student at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. With a wide-ranging interest in Psychology, Psychiatry, History and African Literature, he is a freelance writer, editor and graphic designer. He emerged as the Grand Prize Winner in the 6th Tertiary Institution Essay Competition organized by the Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF).

Ayomide is also a serial volunteer at several organizations where he contributes his time and skills to positive development in our society. He is a lover of God, good music and intelligent conversations.
