YOU WERE CREATED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

In Part 2, we treated an overview of academic success and I believe you were really inspired. One important thing to note here is that academic success is sweet and you should not let anyone discourage you from being successful. Additionally, you were told that success takes your interest. In this part, I want you to know that you were created for success.

Let’s make Genesis 1:26-28 our reference. Right from the beginning, God has always loved and will ever love you. Verse 26 tells us the blueprint of man – ‘LET us make man in our image…and LET them have dominion…’. When we check verses 27 and 28 – ‘So God created man…and blessed them…and God said,…have dominion…’. Taking a deep insight into these verses reveals to us that God had a plan to make man and give him dominion (verse 26) and the plan was executed (verse27-28).

Therefore, it is not an overstatement to say that every one of us was created for the top. No one was created to be inferior, second-rate, feeble, dull, etc. Some may want to ask, ‘Is it possible for everyone to be at the top?’. The answer is ‘YES’. This is because the firmament, I mean the sky, is large enough to contain the billions of stars that we have in our galaxy. So, there is so much space at the top to contain everybody.

Let this statement keep ringing in your heart, ‘I AM CREATED FOR THE TOP!’. Some of us are so satisfied with a little success. When a little victory comes, they relax. There is still a higher place than where you are now. You can be better. There is still a greater level relative to the status quo. Strive to get to the top.

However, a realistic and candid look into the world today shows that not everyone finds himself at the top. A few people are at the top, some above average, while we have very many people wallowing in destitution. This applies to all areas of life. This observation leads us to a number of questions – Since the Word of God is ever true, why are there only a few people up there? Could there be any solution to this challenge?
